Our powder’s “secret sauce” is a probiotic that is scientifically proven to be effective in removing dirt and kill odour causing bacteria.

Yes, none of our ingredients contain palm oil.

Fabric softeners is not great for you, or the environment. They are full of harsh chemicals that create a film on your clothes and can irritate your skin. The good news is our laundry powder is formulated to ensure it does not harden fabrics so you save money and your health from having to use fabric softeners.

For spot stains, wet the stained area and rub some laundry powder in. Leave overnight and wash as normal in your machine. For general stain or odour removal, add 1 spoon of laundry powder to a bucket of water, soak clothes overnight and wash per normal in your machine.

For a standard load of washing, we recommend 2 flat wooden spoons (or 15g).

This is based on an average load in a 8.5kg front loader washing machine. Top loader machines, especially older ones, are generally larger and use more water than front loaders.

Our powders are formulated as a concentrate so a little goes a long way. Don’t be tempted to overdose.

To ensure durability and effectiveness of your Resparkle cleaning products, we recommend the following care:

1. Store the unopened sachets in a cool dry place and away from moisture and direct sunlight. Once sachets are open, use immediately.
2. Always rinse your reusable bottles before each refill. Our glass bottles are dishwasher safe but run your machine on cold water.
For the foaming hand wash bottle, pump clean water through the foaming pump a few times. This will help unclog any soap build up inside.
3. Avoid dropping the bottle. WIth the silicon sleeve, it can withstand more than a few hard knocks but sometimes it may land at an angle that may cause it to crack.

Our refill sachets can be disposed in your home compost. If you do not have access to a compost bin, the sachets should be dispose along with your food waste. It will biodegrade into carbon and organic matter like the rest of your food waste.

It sometimes take a little longer for the powder to dissolve completely. It will however completely clear up after 24 hours. If you wish for it to dissolve quicker, use warm water. You can also give the bottle a gentle shake.

The powder will foam up after water is added. To avoid the foam from overflowing, fill water up to the top end of the silicon window. Once the foam settles, you can add more water to fill up the bottle completely.

Our All purpose cleaner does not contain any acidic or corrosive surfactants and formulated to be pH neutral. This means it is suitable for any surfaces. However, if you are unsure it is always best to spot test first.

Our bottles are made of glass with a silicon protective sleeve around it. To reduce plastic use, our foaming pump is made from stainless steel. Plastic use is limited to just the spray heads, caps and tubes.

We want your bottles to last forever and have carefully designed a protective all round silicon sleeve so it can withstand tipping over and shallow drops. We have also made the surface of the silicon non-slip.

However, the silicon does not make the glass indestructible. This means a you still need to take reasonable care to keep your bottle out of harm’s way and avoid repeated drops.

Our home compostable refill sachets are completely plastic free and made of corn.

We do not make any disinfectant or antibacterial claims. We do not formulate with the biocides that are often included in antibacterial products because biocides do not meet our standards for health and safety. At Resparkle, we strive to make our products optimal for effectiveness as well as human and environmental health.

Our All-purpose cleaners are formulated to fight grease and grime in order to help keep your surfaces clean, remove stains from mold and inanimate scum such as soap scum. As you’ll read in our customer reviews, people do seem to find our cleaners very effective! 

Separately, our hand soap does help wash away viruses and bacteria. Regarding our hand soaps, while we don’t use antibacterial agents, there are several studies that show non-antibacterial hand soaps are effective at removing germs. We do include surfactants that reduce surface tension to effectively lift up bacteria and viruses from skin to easily wash them away and you can read about proper hand washing from the World Health Organization: https://www.who.int/gpsc/clean_hands_protection/en/.

1. Powered RefillsOur powdered refills inside our sealed sachets have a shelf life of 24 months. Once the powders are diluted with water, it is best to use it up within 4 months.

2. Laundry PowderOur laundry powder has a shelf life of 24 months. It is best to store it in a sealed bag and in cool and dry place. Moisture and humidity can cause the powder to get clumpy but this does not impact the cleaning performance.

3. Floor CleanerOur floor cleaner has a shelf life of 18 months.

4. Disinfectant ConcentrateOur disinfectant concentrate has a shelf life of 24 months. Once diluted, it is best to use it up within 12 months.

Our products are carefully formulated with skin-friendly ingredients so it is gentle and non-irritating on sensitive skin. All of our products are all free of synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals, dyes, and enzymes. Our products do contain a small amount of essential oils. We list the oils used in each product on our packaging and on each respective product page.

Yes! Our ingredients are either from a plant source or minerals. We do not test on animals, only on our own friends and family.
